What film studio facilities does VECTAR Project offer for film production?
VECTAR Project offers a wide range of flexible broadcast standard film production facilities to offer you the widest choice of shooting options to meet your budget needs.
Studio 1 is our largest space – A 3,000sq ft fully soundproofed sound stage, with overhead pantograph lighting, Dual 360-degree tab rails enabling fast changes and shooting options for white, black, green or blue 360-degree surround. The studio has the largest infinity cove in Manchester with a full L shape return and loading access for large trucks directly into the stage.
A second small film studio of 600ft on the 1st floor has a 180 degree – U shaped infinity cove fully pre-lit for green, white or black shoots and perfect for smaller intimate shoots.
Both studios are fully tracked and equipped for Virtual production and XR production with a choice of 4k Live keying, LED Volume or full XR extensions. We also have our own inhouse LED lighting available at massive discount when hired with the studios.
We also offer a fully serviced Podcast studios – where we will fully service all your needs for set design, set construction, filming, recording and uploading your podcasts.
How sustainable is VECTAR Project's film studio in Manchester?
The VECTAR Project’s South Manchester film studio is a pioneer in net zero filming and sustainable production. Our mission is to lead the pack in green practices and support to move to zero emission film production.
Our sustainability journey began in 2019 identifying 6 key objectives for the studio.

- Replacing grid power with solar Installing an 11Kw solar power plant on the roof
- Where grid power is still needed, change to a green energy supplier
- Investment in Virtual Production
- Investment in remote technology, faster data transfer reducing the need for travel

Do you provide technical support during the production process?
Yes, we work closely with all Heads of department to ensure your shoot will run smoothly. With over 30 years of experience in TV, film, corporate and commercials production we are happy to provide technical support however small or large the project.
What types of productions can your film studio accommodate?
Our film studio is versatile and can accommodate a wide range of productions, including feature films, television shows, advertisements, and video podcasts. With our large area 360 green screen, we have also provided studio space to film a number of CGI and VFX videos for game production as well.
